This August, come and join us at the Summer of Machine Learning! SMILES are three exciting events around Machine Learning at Skoltech: Summer School, Conference on Analysis of Images, Social networks and Texts (AIST), and The Hackathon. You can be new in the field or a decades-long specialist, an academic, or an industry practitioner, we've got you covered.
worldwide experts
Leading experts and world-recognized professionals in Machine Learning industry
hands-on training
Intensive hands-on tutorials, workshops and practice sessions related to deep learning, reinformcement learning, statistics and more.
networking
Networking opportunities with relevant companies in the field, resulting in internships, employment and research options at the end of the course.
modern campus
Intensive 2 weeks experience with a full immersion into Skoltech's innovative and research-oriented community, as well as Russia's rich culture.
Our plans for this August, 2020:
16–21 August, 2020
SMILES :) School
Machine Learning School is a course about modern methods of statistical machine learning and inference. Globally renowned experts from both academia and industry present topics which are at the core of modern machine learning, from fundamentals to state-of-the-art practice.
26–28 August, 2020
AIST
Conference on Analysis of Images, Social Networks, and Texts intended for researchers and practitioners interested in data science. AIST is focused on innovative applications of data mining and machine learning techniques to image processing, analysis of social networks, text processing and other domains, such as economics or geographic information systems. Proceedings will be published in the Springer's in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
August 2020 (TBD)
ML Hackathon
Team challenge where groups of highly-motivated enthusiasts get a business problem together with a data set and solve relevant problems using the state-of-the-art in machine learning.
An expert committee chooses a winning team based on a set of criteria.
How to become a partner
sponsorship
Sponsoring packages are available, including premiere partners for the Hackaton
