March 21
Here are some exercises to help you maintain visual acuity, reduce eye fatigue, and keep your eyes healthy.
  • Eye movement up and down
Gently move your eyes up and down, slowly and evenly. After six such movements, pause with your eyes closed for 1 to 2 seconds. Repeat three times.
  • Eye movement to the sides
Gently move your eyes left and right, slowly and easily. After six such movements, pause with your eyes closed for 1 to 2 seconds. Repeat three times.
  • Circular eye movements
Slowly and gently move your eyes in a big circle. After three rotations in each direction, pause with your eyes closed for 1 to 2 seconds. Repeat three times.
  • Eye movement back and forth
Hold out your hand with a finger 25 to 30 centimeters in front of your face. Alternate 10 times between looking at the finger and at an object 5 or more meters away, before pausing with eyes closed for 1 to 2 seconds. Repeat five times.
